I live in the Baltimore/DC corridor and work for the Mozilla Foundation (the nonprofit parent of the Mozilla Corporation and Mozilla Messaging, its taxable subsidiaries responsible for the Firefox web browser and Thunderbird email client respectively). I blog here on Mozilla, open source, and related issues, and also post occasionally about life as an eMusic subscriber, with a particular focus on eMusic as a business in relation to the digital music industry as a whole. (These posts were formerly on my Swindleeeee!!!!! blog, which I’ve since discontinued and merged with this blog.)
Note that posts on this blog are my own opinions, and do not necessarily represent the official position of the Mozilla Foundation or its subsidiaries or affiliates. Note also that I have no connection with eMusic except as a subscriber.

Mr. Hecker, I read your blog and am interested in the Gini coefficient for downtown Baltimore. Do you know if there is a publication somewhere that would give me gini coefficients by census track? Thanks!

Re Gini coefficients at a more fine resolution than county-level, I’ll contact you via email with some thoughts.

I just (re)discovered your various analyzes and commentaries on the subject. The were referenced in the context of some ongoing discussions on the subject. They are excellent.
I wonder if you have any sense of how if at all the situation has changed over time? I would welcome the opportunity to meet and discuss.
